The little brown bat as the name suggest, its fur is uniformly dark brown and glossy on the back and upper parts with slightly paler, and grayish fur on the underneath side. Wing membranes are dark brown on a typical wingspan of 22 to 27 cm. They live along streams and lakes as well as in old buildings and eaves of homes. In the winter they hibernate in caves and old mines. Little brown bats have not been listed as endangered. To read more about bats go to the trapping page.
