English Sparrow
Size
It is a chunky bird, typically about 6 inches long, ranging from 5.5 to 7 inches. It has a large rounded read, a short tail, and a shout bill. It is generally .84 to 1.4 oz.
Food
As an adult, the House Sparrow mostly feeds on the seeds of cereals and weeds, but it is opportunistic and adaptable, and eats whatever foods are available.
Habitation
The only habitats in which the House Sparrow is not found are dense forest and tundra.
